Both plants have an ISO14001 & 50001 certificate, proving solid environmental and energy management.

Only by doing this can we ensure the next generations – the little diaper heroes of today and tomorrow – an environmentally secure future.

“Nature is safe,so is my diaper”

With regards to climate action (SDG13), Ontex’s focus is on energy efficiency, renewable energy and supporting climate resilience so that their operations can become carbon neutral by 2030.

The two sites (Eeklo and Turnov) where Ontex produces the « Moltex » brand are already labelled CO2-neutral production plants.

Going beyond purchasing 100% green electricity, the plants compensate for their unavoidable CO2 emissions by supporting climate projects with the aim to install WIND TURBINES in India that will produce 54 000 MWh of electricity per year to supply 50 000 households with renewable electricity.

Ethical Sourcing

We emphasise the importance of ensuring that our raw materials come from ethically, socially acceptable and responsible sources. We use risk based social audit approach to ensure social compliance in our supply chain.

How we control quality

A quality assurance process based on the principles of environmental awareness and responsibility always has the highest priority at MOLTEX. The need for continuous production and product monitoring poses a challenge in this context. This involves assessing environmental and social consequences and continuously adapting them to the most recent standards. (ISO14001 , ISO50001)

Environmental and Energy Management

Our Moltex baby diapers and pants are being produced in European production facilities exclusively using green electricity.

These plants are ISO14001 & ISO50001 certified.
ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system. With this environmental system, we are able to identify and controle the environmental impact of our activities, products and services and continually improves our environmental performance.
The ISO 50001 standard provides a framework of requirements that enables us to develop a policy of more efficient energy use, and continuously improve our energy management.

Moltex employees are naturally the beating heart and driving force of our company. We rely on a systematic, practice-oriented approach to staff development, as well as encouraging and supporting ongoing training and further education. We emphasise the importance of promoting progressive improvements in work-life balance through effective measures. It is also important for us to heighten awareness of sustainable values among our entire workforce, and we strive to set a good example. This is a process that can only be carried out together and by taking small steps. Additionally, we conduct 3rd party social audits (BSCI) in our plants to ensure fair working conditions
